The DuPont Chevrolet is towed off the track after being
involved in a scary accident with Sam Hornish on lap 62 of the 90-lap event.
Gordon was relegated to a 37th-place finish in the season’s final road course
event but walked away unscathed after the frightening accident. Gordon remains
third in the point standings, 342 points behind leader Tony Stewart.
