Jeff Gordon (No. 24 DuPont/National Guard Chevrolet) and Kevin
Harvick (No. 29) race side-by-side around the two-mile track. After starting
from the rear of the field, Team DuPont rallied to a second-place finish, their
16th top-five finish in 33 starts at Michigan International Speedway. Gordon
remains second in the point standings, now 47 points behind leader Tony Stewart.
