Jeff Gordon (No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet) leads Elliot Sadler (No.
19) through the fourth turn of Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Gordon finished in 14th
position after the race was called due to rain after only 227 of the scheduled
400 laps. He still leads the point standings, now 44 ahead of second-place Tony
