Team DuPont finishes working on the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet following the first segment of the Budweiser Shootout. Jeff Gordon and Team DuPont retired from the race at lap 31 – finishing in 21st place – following a faulty electrical connection with the ignition of the racecar.
